The muted tones suit the kind of old tablet feel of this artwork while the highlights and shadowing gives it depth, its amazing.
While amazing, there are some details and could use refining and looked rushed. some of the shadows and highlights don't match the light source.
This could be a 5 star work but there are some things that need polishing such as your lineart. It needs to be removed and you need to show light and dark with a more lighthanded dark/light scale.
ATM I feel its a bit in-between a painting and a coloring, its never clearly defined and its where its letting it self down.
All In all, I would be very proud of this, its a job well done and your monsters show creativity and are very interesting and clever.
